Skills for Life ESOL Initial Assessment

The Learning & Skills Council have issued a fact sheet on the new language requirements for naturalisation / citizenship. The fact sheet includes a section that recommends a learner takes a Skills for Life ESOL Initial Assessment in Speaking and Listening, in order to demonstrate ability at Level 3 or above or if they do not have fluency in English.

A copy of the Skills for Life ESOL Initial Assessment can be obtained from DfES publications on 0845 60 220 60, and quoting reference code: 'IAESOL'
